Spring migration has started....

This week the trumpeter swans were joined by common and hooded mergansers. There was also an eagle lurking nearby.

  1. I went for a hike under the 494 bridge Friday and saw the same birds. I didn't have my camera, just my binoculars. I have trouble carrying both. The garbage along 494 is terrible. I love FortSnelling State Park and got to thinking if our club could help promote a cleaner enviroment.
Those trumeter swans are a big bird. So cool.
