First racoon rescue of 2014 found in dumpster 4/25. When it was leaving I saw it had an spot on it's right rear leg where the fur was rubbed off. It climbed and ran OK though.

Spring is here and the lake is open!

3/14/2014. Saw 3 or 4 River Otters feeding on bullheads in Snelling lake by the aerated open water. There were 4 swans there also.

On occasion we do take photos of something besides deer, these owls have provided us with many hours of  enjoyment. Disclaimer: WE DID NOT FEED THIS OWL

Saw this owl after the January meeting. It was sitting close to the road near one of the parking lots by the fishing pier.
